Here we are in cloudy, rainy Brunei. we are staying at The Empire Hotel & Country Club.It is a vision in Marble. We look over the south china sea. It is a really stunning place, our standard room is so luxurious I don't know where to begin.
We have just had breakfast which was interesting? salads,fried rice, noodles,beef bacon beans and beef sausage.plus the usual stuff etc.
Brunei is a muslim country, very clean and tidy, no alcohol and very orderly.
This complex which was built by the sultan is hugh and well worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere quiet.We were so tired we got here about 1-30pm went to bed at 4pm as we were collapsing, woke at 9pm had some room service and went back to sleep until 4-30 this morning. We are leaving here on the 12noon flight and get into Brisbane at 8-45pm. Sorry about the snow, ha ha.

Not for me if there's no alcohol. No place to get some wine on the black market there?
