A Busy Time.

I feel as if I have been on the go since last Wed. Got my diagnosis of Shingles, at least I know what is causing the pain.
Got Michael off ok. Naomi took him to the railway station so I could go to my aqua class. Have managed to keep up my keep fit regime through the pain, in a weird way it has helped except the water in the pool irritates my spots and they always feel sore when I get home.
They are almost gone now but still itch and are sore if I forget myself and scratch.

We have had some really cracking thunderstorms over the past few days, forked lightening etc, kansas style? and very heavy rain interspersed with sunshine.
The final at Wimbledon is in the last set and I am too nervous to watch. I cannot get online on my laptop, I have done something and there is a connection but it will not allow me to go online, it is my fault so have come upstairs to type this.
My old bathroom is out and the ceiling has been plastered over the artex. The floor and walls are going to be tiled next I think. I will try and attach a picture of phase one.

Michael rang and said that the start of the course has been delayed until next Wed as the President of the Turkish FA has suddenly died. He had only been in the job for a matter of months, it is probably a heart attack, he was 52 I think. He was a very rich business man who was a good friend of the Turkish President so I assume it will be a big funeral?
It will probably throw the Turkish FA into chaos again, they were just getting sorted after the death of the previous one.
Natasha and Chris have driven to Newquay from York this morning in the little old car of his, about a 6hour journey. They stopped off at an owl sactuary where Natasha got to have one perch on her arm, she was thrilled to bits. They are watching this singer called Jack Johnson on the beach then driving back to York. Have told them to take stops and walk around and for Natasha to talk to Chris and keep him awake which shouldn't be too hard a job???
Had a chat with Liam this w/end, he is a bit better but his hay fever has really been bad this year.

For the men out there it has shown that men who have sedentary jobs ie civil servants, office workers etc have a 30% more chance of developing prostate cancer than manual workers with more physically demanding jobs. The findings were published in the European Journal of Cancer Prevention. Risks increase with age and there is a strong genetic link.

It is 9-15pm and the tennis is still on I can hear the shouts of the crowd so will go back down and see the end. nadal has just won.
night all
