A Warm Spell.

After a fair bit of rain over the past week we are in for two or three warm sunny days.Everything is growing so fast. Visited J&K after tea yesterday and took home some gooseberries and more rhubarb so a crumble is on the menu for today.

I still have the pain in my back/hip and have an appt with the doc tomorrow morning and the physio in the afternoon. It isn't as severe as it was initially but is constantly there and often wakes me up in the night or early morning. I have to get straight out of bed and it eases a little if I walk around, I cannot go back to bed until the painkillers take hold and that can be a couple of hours sometimes. The Excedrin has been a lifesaver as they are the only ones which have any effect. Have found them online so am ordering some more.It is wearing me out.

M&P have arrived safely in Mauritius and say it is a lovely place.
Natasha says Chris and herself are driving down to Newquay in Cornwall this weekend to listen to an American singer called (I think) Jack Jackson, or is it Johnson? Anyway she said he plays a guitar and plays to surfer and uni crowds so hope the weather holds out for them.
Michael is gearing up for Turkey, his ticket has arrived, he leaves Friday on the 11am train so will not see him until his stopover on the 22nd, then he leaves for Aus on the 23rd so will have a seperate suitcase packed. He finally arrives home on the 29th.
Spoke to S&S, his team won again 3-0, should have been 4-0 but they had a goal disallowed. They beat the top of the league team who haven't lost in 2 years. The last time they lost it was to the Raiders the team Sameer coached in Toowoomba.
They now have almost a hundred coaches coming to their seminar and there is still 3 weeks to go so let us hope it reaches over that figure and they are able to make a bit of a profit?
My bathroom gets ripped out this weekend then the new stuff goes in next week. Will take pictures to show you the progress.
I have an aqua class this afternoon, that sometimes eases the pain, funnily enough.
Am going down to stay with S&G once the bathroom is finished for a few days and am going to meet my friends in Leeds next Tuesday for the day so the time will pass quickly I am sure.
Not much else to say except good morning all, it is a beautiful warm sunny day and the back garden looks stunning.

Sonia, is the pain in your back/hip the pain you think is from the chia seeds? Looking forward to seeing the bathroom re-do.
