Busy, Busy Busy.

9 days to go and counting. Am half packed and most stuff is sorted for whilst we are away.
It is still really cold but the nights are drawing out. The Snake Pass was closed with snow today and it is forecast for us on Sunday. Apparently it is the coldest winter since 1996.
Had a long chat with Sandra this morning, they are packing ready for the move on the 6th.She hasn't done her blog or emailed as they are back to dial up broadband and it takes forever. They are changing suppliers when they move and I think they get a better deal as it is near Brisbane with a much bigger population so fingers crossed.
Natasha and Chris came to see us this afternoon. We had a long chat and put the world to rights, they are such a lovely couple and so right for each other.
We watched the Obama Inauguration along with most of England. We were impressed and thought how simple the ceremony was compared to ours of a similar nature. If you want over the top pomp and ceremony with men in wigs and long fur edged capes and trains come to England. We wish the man well as we feel his success in the USA will reverberate around the world in a positive way.
It was lovely to see S&G when they came for lunch on Tuesday. I do miss her and being able to visit like I used to.
Have also talked to Pat, Susan and Jean this week. An elderly aunt by Marriage, my mothers oldest sister-in-law died last week aged 97yrs.Despite being small she was known as big Louie as there is another aunt Louie who was known as little Louie. Big Louie had a daughter called Sheila who was known as big Sheila and our Sheila was known as little Sheila. It was so we all knew who we were talking about.
Everone else is ok and trying not to let the recession get them down.
Deans girlfriend Lauren rang to say her job was safe after 42 were let go from their company.
Am going to have an early night, yoga was hard but good last night then i did an Aqua class this morning so am a bit stiff.
Bottles are in and we are about to share a cup of cocoa.
Night all

Mam, can't believe you are packing with more than 9 days to go. What will you wear if you have stuff packed? I will pack the day before we leave.
