What ever normal is I think we are back to it.
Have sorted out the shed and the side of the house and the garden is up to speed. Need to plant a few more veggies, am putting the seeds in about every three weeks so will see what materialises. Am not holding my breath as the soil is crap.
We are having a visit from an interviewer for the office of National Statistics today. We were chosen at random by our address so will see what info they want.
It is 5-35am and the sun has just popped over the horizon. Woke up at 4-30am and couldn't go back to sleep so thought I would do my blog as I am way too tired at night to do it.
Natasha is on her final run. Her dissertation has to be in by the 17th of this month and the her placement report the week after then she is done. I think her student status finishes the end of June. I think she gets a BA in Sports Science and is hoping for a 2.1. Good luck and fingers crossed etc. It is her birthday on the 30th of May and I think she plans to celebrate big style.
She is off to Austalia in Sept for 3 weeks with Chris her boyfriend and if all goes to plan will move there to live next year.
Michael is taking to full retirement better than I thought. He busies himself with the boring jobs like cleaning the outside window frames which are white PVC and are grubby having not been properly cleaned for about 9 years, he is doing a good job. He is also being trained in basic household skills so that he could survive should I be incapacipated.
Fuad you would be proud of me. I ordered a lovely bag online, it was a real bargain, looked at it for a few days then returned it. Am still using the summer bag I bought from JJills on Crown centre Plaza with my Christmas money you both gave me about 4 years ago. I find leather bags too heavy in summer and my Kansas one is perfect. So no more bags at present.
Oh if you fly with Emirates from here to Aus they have put the luggage allowance up 30kgms for economy and 40kgms for business checked in luggage, it is a cut throat business and they think they may get more travellers that way I think?
They reckon that over 5million more people will holiday in England this year instead of going abroad so air travellers numbers will be well down.
Michael had an email from the interpreter he worked with in Turkey and he said that there will be some really cheap holidays going there as the number of tourists this year are really low.
For the bird watchers. We had 21 pairs of red kites, wing span 5ft, introduced to Yorkshire at Harewood house nine years ago and there are now 60 pairs. What beautiful majestic birds they are. My treat is a pair of gold finches that bath every day in my water fountain.
Am going back to bed to try and get an hours sleep before I have to get up properly.
Good Morning all.
