My mothers youngest sister, 'Auntie Louie' passed away this morning, she was 78 years old and the last one of her family of 4 boys and 4 girls. She hadn't been well for some time having had a stroke last year. She was only 10 years older than me and spent time with me my mum and my dad when I was small.It feels somewhat strange as I am the oldest now of our generation?

Yes ! You will have to take on the mantel of "Queen mother" now.It's sad about auntie louie. Another era gone. It's a pity we didn't talk more about our ancesters when our family members were still alive. Now it's too late.

It's very sad about Auntie Louie, the last time I saw her was at Dennis's funeral and she just reminded me of Momma.
