And Now the End is Near!!!!!!!!!!!

Well! I am almost at the end of my stay in sunny Kansas. I know how the Queen must feel as I have been treat like royalty for the past 3 weeks. Food and digs have been first class and I have been waited on hand and foot.
My request that I shouldn't be involved in any major decision making has been strictly adhered to and I have been chauffeured everywhere.
My dietary requests have been met, we have eaten at the Bristol, lunched at Nordstroms, had Jack Stack BBQ ed ribs, sandwiches from Panera bread and a host of other delights including a delicious Quinoa salad and numerous wonderful meals and deserts made by Mary Sue. Fuad has got my tea off to a fine art, just the right colour, in the right cup and at the right time.
Mary Sue has helped me shop till I dropped and has walked with me most mornings.
I love their new house and the neighbourhood. There are also lovely neighbours around who I have met. On top of all this the weather has been perfect. Not one drop of rain, cloudless skies everyday and no humidity, the best 3 weeks weather wise in 20 yrs apparently?
It was lovely seeing Tammy, Jake and Sarah with the grand kids. Four little girls 5yrs and under each with their own personalities making lots of noise and fun.
I feel much stronger physically and mentally and ready to face a 'cold winter', so I am told back home. Glad I have got some sun on my bones.
My last task is to pack my suitcases, 'a quart into a pint pot' comes to mind. Wish me luck??
My heartfelt thanks to Fuad and Mary Sue for their love and care and yes I have bossed him around and yes he has let me. xxxxx
