Feeling better

Am back to my old self again other than I can't go? immodium is pretty strong stuff.
Spent yesterday getting Michael packed and ready for off. Went for a walk, my ankle is holding up much better and I am getting into my stride again.
We also remembered that we had known each other for 34 years yesterday. We met on his sisters 21st and he rang to wish her happy birthday and there was the cue. So we broke open a box of chocolates that I had bought to take to kansas and ate the top layer. Will buy another box before I leave. M&S are doing a good deal on the biscuits I usually bring and the chocolates, both half price and they are good??
Michaels train for the airport leaves M/hall at 7am so we were up bright and early, Michael was talking to me at 4-30am bless him. An absolutely stunning sunrise as we drove to the station, saw him onto the train and came home. Am off to town on the tram early doors, will probably need to crash for a nap this afternoon.
It was quite cool this morning, 7deg but bright and sunny, the good weather is expected to break on Sunday and it should become cooler and more autumnal next week. It is 25deg in Istanbul and looks to stay like that for the week that Michael is there.
Michael left me with a load of instructions, not to do too much, to treat myself, to take an afternoon nap everyday etc, etc, I may take him up on most of them.
