A Busy Week.

I don't know where the time has gone this week. Have had phone conversations with Sheila, Sandra, Mary Sue, Fuad, Natasha, Susan, Naomi and have seen Muneer, Pauline and Joseph, Karon was at work.
Have been out tonight to Carl Bradshaws (ex footballer) 40th birthday party. Had a good night. Met Simon Tracy, Mel and Charmaine Sterland, Paul Beesley and Wayne Gibbons to name a few. Carl has retrained as a bricklayer has his own business and has just built his own 5 bed house. Paul B is a decorator, Simon is a goalkeeping coach at R/Ham. Mel is in a bad way health wise and Charmaine is much the same bless her.
We are invited to a book signing fund raising event on Nov 1st for Mel at Baldwins Omega restuarant and are on the top table with the Wilkinsons etc. It is cocktail dress for the ladies so will have to go dress hunting???
Our tomatoes have all suddenly turned red so it has been tomatoes with everything.
Made a cassulet, recipe from MS, Michael loved it but it is a wind producing dish
Have started back at the gym, could hardly walk the day after my yoga class but am feeling better for it. Did aqua class Friday morning and it did my soul good to hear and sing along with 20 other ladies at full throttle 'Youre Simply the Best' by Tina Turner. We also sang along to the Bee Gees, Human League and many others. I get surprised by how many songs I know. All this whilst exercising in the water non stop. I would say 85% of us are over 65yrs so we don't do bad?
The weather hasn't been too bad since my return from Kansas, with a fair bit of sunshine and blue skies. My neighbour Dorothy has filled me in with all the local gossip. My next door neighbour who was taken out in handcuffs whilst I was in Kansas for beating his wife, has got a flat around the corner and is slowly working his way back into the marital home. He has been seen walking to the house and his wife is providing him with food so watch this space.
I am in the dog house at the moment for reversing into the car behind whilst leaving the 'do' tonight. Yes I know it was a daft thing to do but I claim old age, a mental block etc, etc. My back bumper is scraped a bit but I will not know the real damage until the light of day.
Michael is now 'a work in progress' re housework. He wants to make my load lighter so today has washed the downstairs windows and frames. He was astonished at how mucky they were.
Fuad Saif am shocked that you can admonish MS re not making bread in the new machine.
I raised you to be independant, have you forgotten how to read instructions and have you got a bone in your arm that prevents you from making the bread. Do not admonish others when you haven't tried yourself.
Am off to bed, Michael has put the bottles in but he has put them on his side due to my misdemeaner with the car. If you read this Nick hope you had a wicked birthday as the young ones say. Loved the pictures of him and Sausage. Memories of haircuts etc.
Night All

Trouble with Mike is, that he hasn't yet figured out yet that the more he presses me to do something, the less likely I am to do it, unless it has to do with exercise because I know that's good for me.
