Well, it has been freezing, had our first sleet today along with persistant rain and heavy grey skies.
I keep losing the internet, usually when I am in the middle of something. The sky dish reacts adversly to any change in the weather.
I keep copying the words as I go along.
Monday, Michael and myself went to the Hallamshire Hospital so he could have a check up. WE had lunch in town and a walk round but it was so cold we got the tram and headed home.
Tuesday, Natasha and Chris called in on their way back to York. They had been clearing the garden with Roxanne at Hucklow Road before the arrival of S&S next week.
I made them pasta, broccoli, salmon, apple crumble and custard. We had a good couple of hours before they left. They both looked knackered.
WEdnesday, Muneer came straight from work and sorted our boiler out. We had a lot of air in the system after putting in a new radiator and the pressure needed topping up. We couldn't undo the screw but Muneer did and we topped it up and aired the radiators making the house much warmer. M and myself went for a long walk ( in my new walking shoes) and then did a couple of hours in the garden. We surrendered about 2-30pm when it became too cold to move.
Thursday, my car was taken in to have the bumper repaired. I went to the hairdressers for a cut and colour, came home and had a nap then off to yoga which again was challenging??????
We are off to Mel Sterlands 'do' Saturday night. Am taking a ton of stuff back as have decided to wear some black trousers and a lace style top, both of which I know I will wear again.
Have got a small astra car whilst mine is being repaired and it is like a toy car with planks for seats. Petrol is now 95.9p a litre here and is supposed to fall again. The oil companies are making billions out of us aren't they?
Las Vegas is the place to go, they have bus tours 3 times a week to look at repossesed properties, some have lost over $200,000 dollars and are lovely houses.
The US election is on every channel and we are getting election fever here. Either fever or fear or both.
Bottles are in so am off to bed.
Night all.
