Today between the hours of 5am and 9am we had black ice, blizzards, drifting snow, sleet and rain.
Mon, Tues and Wed was like the arctic with ice everywhere. Had a day in York Wed and have never been so cold despite wearing my long Johns A match for kansas any day as the sun shone every day. Then onto a smorgasboard of weather Thursday am. By 2pm the snow had gone and the sun was shining. and it was warmer.
This is for Sheila, Bon Marche have 30% off everything up to Friday if you use your card. Is there one in Lincoln?
M&S had another flash sale with 20% of everything today, we were there by 9-30,having battled through the snow and ice at High Green to find there wasn't a trace once we got on the M1.
By the time we left it was heaving and peoples trolleys were piled high.
Was going to the fair at Lincoln tomorrow but have too much to do so may go Saturday.
Mary Sue, Natasha visited the 'Bodies' exibition in London with her Uni course. Am dying to hear what she thought of it?
Michael was impressed with the Brazil set up Fuad, it should be a good experience despite the roads. The quicker you move onto Brazil time the better I would say, just go with the flow.
I have decided to buy an electric blanket as I am always cold. Some nights even the warmth of two bottles isn't enough, they are hard to find but I understand Boots sell them?
Hope the Aussies are ok?
Am off to bed, we were put through our paces at Yoga tonight but am improving, honestly.
Night all.
Wrote this last night but couldn't publish it as google was playing up, so here it is one day late.

Well, it's certainly arctic here. No snow, but way below freezing temps. I think an electric blanket is a great idea, but what about the down comforters or duvets (whatever you call them)?? Aren't they suppose to be the best for warmth??

They are, but despite a really good one and two throws I cannot get warm. I never feel warm when I get into bed and often wake up feeling chilled in the morning. Got an electric blanket but it will not work because of my bed, too long to explain. I need one that is an over blanket, not one that fits over the mattress.
Have just written 62 xmas cards, so have cramp in my right hand.
