Catch Up Time.

Spent a day in York today. Had some stuff to take to Natasha. She was working 7-4 at the Starbucks that Chris manages. He was working 11-7pm.. Saw them both and took Natasha out for lunch. She took me to a small vegan cafe just around the corner from Starbucks. The food was delicious, cheap and very filling.
York was packed with amazing buskers around every corner. I saw a man on a honkey tonk piano playing some amazing music, a harpist, a trumpet player and a guitarist playing the blues, heady stuff.
Got you a painted garden plate for your shelf Sandra, hope the other bits are intact?

Yesterday went to yoga in the morning then was visited by Dean, his girlfriend Lauren, Naomi and Deans friend Sean who had come to talk to Michael about a player. Sean who was a bad boy in his past now works in schools to help other 'bad boys with their behaviour'? He is a lovely bloke but not a man to be tackled with I would say and I bet he does a really good job? A good afternoon was had by all.
Lauren has been promoted and is now responsible for a budget of £2.4million pounds. She works in communications and has her own clients now, all businesses.
Dean was his happy usual self.
Cannot remember what we did Sunday. Yes I can, we went into town to look at the new big wheel and walk around the continental market. The wheel is impressive and it was good to see the little kids queuing and all excited. We shall take a turn when it is a better day, the weather was it's usual crap self.
Bought a couple of things in Cole Bros sale for xmas pressies then looked down Division St which was full of people, so being nosey we followed the crowd. Had forgotten there was a music festival on and there was a huge covered stage on Devonshire Green with some good rock music being belted out by the band on the stage.
Stood and listened for a while then headed for home as it was starting to rain.

Saturday, got up did some washing and gardening then spent a couple of hours with Liam and Roxanne, they were both fine. She did a wonderful job with my toe nails, my feet feel all tidy and summery again.
Took Gypsy some chicken skin and bits. She was fine but is a bit deaf now and starting to show her age, bless her.
Friday saw M&P on a visit and Thursday saw Racheal and her bloke Dave. It was her Birthday Friday and they were going out for the day to Chester Zoo.

It has just started raining again and we are promised heavy rain for most of tomorrow. Where is global warming and where is the Bar-B-Q summer we were promised by the weather men????

Michael is well and doing 3 two hour stints a week at the allotment. He still has coaches ring him up and visit him when they are taking their 'A' licence for advice and guidance.
We keep reminicsing about our time in Colorado and will have to plan something for next year?
Am still waiting for probate for the house next door so no For Sale boards up yet.

Not much else to say. Am still awaiting delivery of my laptop which said 7-10 days online for delivery and it is now nearly 3 weeks? My excitement has somewhat dissipated as I think I am in for the long haul?

Oh! forgot to tell you that 'Corrie' has moved to Thursday night from Wednesday night. It has shown on Wednesdays since it started some 40odd years ago, all for football which is shown on a Wed evenings now. Emmerdale and the Bill have also moved. Is nothing sacred?
On TVnews today. An equivilent to a scouts camp only this one is for atheist kids is being held. There is a game which the kids are told to look for 2 unicorns, both of which they cannot touch, feel, smell, see, or hear. There is a prize if anyone finds one. The kids soon got the gist of things. Give us more I say.
It is now bouncing down with rain. An early night is forecast then up and into yoga tomorrow.
S&S are fine in Aus. His team won again, 4-2 with about 5 reserve players. If they win the next 2 games they are in with a chance of winning the league. Go for it son.
Stay well and happy all of you out there.
Night all.
