Heavy continuous rain from 10-30am to about 7-30pm. Dark grey skies, lights and heating on for a time.
Met men have now changed their minds about a Bar-B-Q summer and say there is more rain to come? Paul our local weather man has done some research and says it has only happened 3 times since 1734 where there has been 3 consecutive Julys where it has rained non stop. This is the third year this century so technically next year should be a good one????????????
Yoga this morning. Going away with M&P to London for 3 days to see 'The Jersey Boys' a tour of the Houses of Parliament and the East End Sunday markets beg of October. Got a good deal, £156 each for the train, hotel and show for 2 nights. Some peoples idea of hell but we are looking forward to it.Each to their own I say.
Into town tomorrow morning to get my hair cut. A salon is doing a special deal. If it doesn't work out I'm told there is only 6 weeks between a good and a bad hair cut?
am also picking a top up for Pauline from 'Coast' in Cole Bros. She has drawn a rough copy of it so hope I get the right one. They didn't have her size in M/Hall.
Then yoga tomorrow night, I shall rest up on Friday it is supposed to be sunny, ha, ha.
Night all.

Good to see you keeping busy Mam. And yes, only if I was being punished, would I consider that kind of trip to London.
I'd go...if I had someone directing me which way to cross the roads.
Musicals,Shopping,and london to boot,sounds like paradise.Graham
I was thinking about"each to their own" and "live and let live" and other such platitudes, and came to the conclusion that our livestyles are determined by how much money we have. O.K there are other facters such as morals, and choices within the constraints of your budget etc but generally our lives are moulded by our circumstances. Some people are profligate and spend all their money as soon as they get it. Some people save for a rainy day and some people are just careful with what they have. I'm not really sure which catogary I fall into. I have had to be careful in the past. Then I went through a time of plenty and now I am being careful again. The simple lifestyle seems to suit me(and my purse) at the moment so I don't envy your trips to London etc. I hope you all have a wonderful time! Don't bring me any rock back, there's plenty here in Mablethorpe!

At 68yrs old I've had enough of being careful. When its gone its gone and so shall I no doubt.
I am not as old as you so I need to be that bit more careful about expenditure. These rubber tips for walking sticks are outrageously priced nowadays.Graham
