DVD Marathon

Not much to report Saturday. Dull and raining heavy as predicted. Made a lovely curry and felt really tired afterwards, my poor nights sleep catching up with me. Nothing on the tele so got out a DVD which was a pressie and was unopened. Called 'State of Play' a BBC drama on which a later film was based.
Well we sat down to watch the first episode and the rest is history so to speak. The whole saga was on 2 discs, we had a short break between first and second and finally saw it all about 9pm. It passed a miserable day, we both enjoyed it and it had stopped raining when we looked outside.
It brought to mind a day in Kansas when Mary Sue, Sandra and myself sat and watched the first series of '24hrs' what a lovely afternoon and evening that was. I think we finished that marathon about 11-30pm, good memories?

Sunday has dawned sunny and warm, have slept well. We are going for a walk then need to do a grocery shop as we have no fresh food in the house. Not sure what to have for Sunday lunch but will conjure something up no doubt.
Thought new mum Sara looked absolutely blooming, what a good advert for motherhood she is and Madeline looked beautiful and healthy. Another granddaughter for you to cuddle Mary Sue.
Good to see the Aussie Saifs are having a good time. We have 3 mths to take off, am packing already.
Am getting to grips with my new laptop, the one I didn't shop for as Andy, Ginas bloke got it online for me with a good discount him being in computers at a Uni.It is much easier to operate, you just close the lid to put it to sleep instead of all the turning on and off stuff. I could go on and on but I won't, just to say it is far superior in looks, build and operation than any PC that I have had. A very good buy I say.
Hope the rest of the chickens are ok.

Morning all, have a full and happy day where ever in the world you are.

Sonia

We go to the movies sometimes for our "movie marathons". We usually do them in the winter over the Christmas holidays. We might go to two in one night and then another 1 or 2 the next day. Can't beat em.

Packing already for Oz????
