Three days post tooth extraction and my bruise is really vivid. I have a stitch in my gum and can only manage soft food.
It took the dentist 40mins to excavate my brittle crumbling stump. For the most he used a dental crowbar and had to press hard on my jaw to give him leverage, hence the bruising. I still feel a wreck.
Michael says I cannot be seen with him as people will think I am a victim of domestic violence?
Natasha and Chris are coming to see us on their way home to York tomorrow. Have made a lovely veg curry and a very tasty Bombay Potato one.
Weather warm and sunny with a bit of a breeze, excellent drying days.
Have had potato, cabbage and carrots for dinner that came out of the ground this morning, can't beat that for freshness can you?
Am off to bed, hope my face looks better tomorrow.

You poor thing Mam. A word of warning...I had the same experience when I lived in England...the dentist had to break the tooth up to pull it out. Anyway, I got a gum infection and it was a painful mess. You might need antibiotics just in case or at least rinse with salt water.
My sentiments exactly Sonia...you poor thing. I feel very sorry for you. I hope it heals quickly.
You look quite good otherwise, you can tell you've lost weight. Great job. Wish I could say I've been doing my yoga as well as you have beem, but I haven't. Was happy to be out on the bike today.
And yes, I am reupholstering your favourite chair. But, I am using a velvety fabric which will feel much the same, and I won't change out the cushions, which are very comfy. I've picked the fabric, nothing fancy, cheap from Hobby Lobby. Couldn't see using expensive stuff and screwing something up. It's darkish green (yes, NOT brown), with a grayish diamond pattern. I didn't want anything too busy either. Anything will look better than the gold stripes.
Take care of yourself!!
