The Deed is Done???

Sky was given a 31 day cancellation order today. We shall be sky less from Feb 3rd. It took about 20mins on the phone, waiting, being passed from different depts and convincing the person in the cancellation dept that we had made our mind up, well Michael had,I barely watch it as he watches football on it nearly every night. We will see how long this lasts.
We have had a real winter storm today. Torrential rain from last night accompanied by very strong winds, it has just calmed down this evening but we are due more rain tomorrow.
Am moving along nicely with the cupboard and drawer cleaning/tidying, have got rid of a fair bit of stuff.
Skyped with Sandra this morning. It was nice to catch up and share the excitement of their new house. It will be so good for them to be settled in their own home at long last. Natasha and Chris are now in Sydney and will be moving on to Adelaide in the near future, well that is plan A. I do so envy them, I could do it but would have to stay in a hotel, couldn't do camping at my age.
Am back at yoga tomorrow so will be aching later on, it will take a good two to three weeks to get up and running again.
Not much else to report, it is all quiet on the western front so far.
A Happy New Year to you all. xx

I don't think you should have canceled Sky Mam. Michael is only doing it to save a few pounds a month. He will be lost without it.

I think it's the thought of paying for the excessive wages these spoilt brats get paid, all the foreign acting and feigning injury that has been brought ito our game, has spoilt it.
It is no longer possible to tackle without theatricals fit for the stage and referees being duped.
Good owd Rotherham tackles like Nobby Noble used to make are no longer possible.

I know he will be lost without it and this has been the base of my daily argument with Michael over the past month. He says he will exercise and sort a lifetime of notes out to fill the time. He often turns the tele off halfway through a game and puts the radio on or watches the tele with me.
He gets bored with it now and says he only wants to watch the highlights or goals so it is not just the money aspect. We shall see, as I say have been here before twice now.
Yoga was good but hard. Visited Naomi, Mam and Pat to tidy up the graves after the big wind then came home and walked the small lump at a brisk pace, mostly uphill. 27 mins 1.02 miles. had a good sleep for an hour then watching some TV and knitting syringe driver covers for the TCU.
Night all xx
