Had my bloods done this morning followed by a brisk walk on what I would say was a typical Kansas winters day, cold with bright sunshine and clear blue sky.
Get my results next Friday when I see the nurse. Have already had my fasting blood sugar done and that was OK at 5.4, it should be about 4.00 to 4.5 and I know it will come down if I lose some weight.
Had rest of the day in, did some sewing and knitting and after tea Michael and me demolished what was left of a batten burg.
We are settled down to watch the funeral of Pat Butcher on Eastenders and other delights until bedtime.
We have a cold sunny weekend to look forward to and Sunday lunch at Muneers.
Love to all of you, xxx

Who got the lions share of the battenberg? Graham
It was shared out equally.
