We are nearly back to normal again. Michael is back into our time zone almost and is sleeping better than me. We had a 'normal' day yesterday Friday, starting at the NGH with an 8-30am physio appt for me. I was signed off as my heel is ok at the moment, will have to be refered if it starts up again.
We then went to Netto to get some trays of dog food for Gypsy, even that has doubled in price over the last two years. We were lucky to catch Roxanne in she was on an afternoon shift. Gypsy was pleased to see us and she looked well.
We then drove over to Muneers so Pauline could cut Michaels hair. I left him there whilst I did an aqua aerobics class at the gym which is within walking distance. Muneer was putting new fence panels in on his back garden and his boss George at the fire station had come over to help. George has his own building company which he works for during his days off so he had all the essential tools. There was a lot of ,to me to you and huffing as the wood panels were really heavy and they had to lift them up to slot them into the grooves of the 6ft posts. Michael had only gone for a haircut and he ended up as the middle man bless him. The finished effect looks really well as the old panels were 15yrs old and showing their age.
Thursday needs a mention if only for the weather. Thunder woke us at 3-30am and it carried on from then. Torrential rain all day and it didn't come light until teatime. The weird thing was it was still very warm and close but looked like a November winters day, I think we stayed in bed and watched TV until about 2pm when hunger drove us downstairs, not much else to do on a day like that.
Joseph and Paul are coming today to put the new screen and mirror in the bathroom so it should finally be finished.
Then we are off to Whitby for a couple of days tomorrow, the weather forcast looks good too. Apparently our seasides are having a really good year as people are staying in England and doing day trips etc. Scarborough was heaving this past week and it is difficult to find a room to stay in at the B&Bs.
All the grandkids are ok. Racheal was 21 last week and has a new boyfriend called Dave. He is a nice lad and is an electrician by trade. They have been together since March and seem well suited. Natasha is getting excited about her trip to Aus on Sept6th then she is back at Uni for her final year. Naomi has 14 days to wait for her 'A' level results then she will be off to Uni.
Have talked to S&S this week, they are now back at home in Toowoomba and recovering from the stress and hard work of the seminar. Sandra is back at work and Sameer is looking at job opportunities.
Fuad and Mary Sue are back home in Kansas, cannot wait to see how Billy and Sophie have got on and if they are pleased to see them. Will they be like the lion Christian and put their arms around his neck??????
Am going back to bed for an hour.
Good Morning all.
