I have been here since Tuesday 16th and it hasn't fell below 75deg daytime, mostly in the 80s and 68 at night and very still and humid. I only brought a couple of summer items to wear as I thought it would get chilly at night etc???
Have settled in nicely and enjoying the rest.
MS and myself went down to the Plaza yesterday as there was an Art fair on. It was very good, heaving with people, about 150 booths showing paintings, photography, jewellry, glass, ceramics and some amazing sculpture. There were 3 stages playing really good music, jazz,classical and rock and loads of booths selling food and drink, including alcohol. They rope a number of streets off and everything is inside them so the drinkers are kept within the boundaries with a couple of cops at each exit to keep order??. It was free to get in with free parking. We had about 7 hours down there and tried different things with a hot fudge sundae at the cheesecake factory to finish off.Am sure S&G would have loved it? The artists and exhibitors came from across America.
Spoke to S&S in Aus along with Natasha. They are all well, Natasha arrives home on the 28th Sept I think?
A very happy 30th birthday to Gina, it will be over and gone as I type as you are in the 22nd now. Hope you had a good one and aren't too depressed at being in your 30s?
Nick and kelly came down from Lincoln, they came down last year when I was here. They both looked well. We did a bit of shopping with Kelly and they spent the w/end on the Plaza and at Westport.
Mary Sue is going to Chicago to see her Grandkids next Thursday for a few days and hopefully Tammy will deliver her second baby whilst she is there.
Fuad is well into his cycling and has slimmed toned legs to prove it. He certainly looks the part I must say.
Well am off to get something to eat, I cannot face big meals in this heat so will look at nibbles.
Michael is well and keeping himself busy. The police and ambulance have been back to the neighbours and he was led out in handcuffs. Michael thinks the locks have been changed on Saturday?
