Grenoside was on the national news. It had a cloudburst with thunder and lightening Sunday afternoon and was awash. I was in my car and had to pull into the side of the road, it was impossible to drive. We have had the equivelent of a years average rain and there are still three and a half months to go. The ground everywhere is sodden and there is nowhere else for the rain to go? It would appear there is much more to come so there are likely to be more floods.
Am booked and ready for Kansas. Have started packing Michaels case for Turkey alongside mine. Have bought the obligatory M&S chocolate biscuits. Will have to get Mary Sue to hide them or you know who will have the lot and that isn't me??
I do hope there is a bit of sun when I get there. Am looking forward to seeing F&MS, the dogs, the house, having lunch at my favourite dept store at the mall, can't remember the bloody name of it, a burger at Nick and Jake, soup and sandwiches at Panara bread and most of all lunch at Wholefoods. Have just remembered, it is Nordstroms.
Natasha rang this morning, she had arrived in Toowoomba after a good flight and was 'bonding' with her Mum and Dad. She is down for some fun filled weeks, she will need a rest when she comes home to recover. I am sure she will have a wonderful time. There is also no truth in the rumour that her dad rushed past her at the airport to get to the chocolate in her suitcase???
Am off to bed to worry about what I need for my trip.
Night all.

Ask Fuad if you can have a go on his new bike when you get there.
Sonia...Nick is wondering if you can bring a package of kit-kats for him. I'm good...I don't need a thing...just for you to have a good journey here. I've requested to have dinner on the Friday night (19th) at Britol's for my birthday, so you can add that to your list of things to look forward to (Bristol bisquits!).
