We had a lovely time on Saturday night. There were about 250 people there, a five course meal, an auction and an exceedingly funny comedian. Most of the team that played with Mel Sterland were there, some much fitter than others? Howard W made a really funny speech which really surprised some of the players. They remembered him as a really stern manager with no sense of humour. Just shows how wrong you can be when you jump to conclusions and make assumptions?
Chantelle asked to be remembered to you Gina. She sends her love, I told her what you were up to these days, she is a stunning looking young woman.
Mel asked to be remembered to Sameer and says good luck in Aus.
It took us all of Sunday to recover as we are not used to getting home at 2-30am. Sunday was a bad weather day. It never really got light and rained most of the day so I snuggled down and watched the tele, Michael watched football. We both watched SCD that I had taped on Saturday night. Made a nice lamb stew which cooked itelf.
Phoned Pat on Friday, it was her birthday, she was at Lisas and was ok. Susan was 60 on Saturday but didn't want to know about it.Rang her and had a chat. She had a little 'do' but we were all committed to other events except Tina.
S&S have arrived on time in Singapore and their onward flight to Dubai is on time.
Natasha caught the same flight and she landed 45mins early in Manchester so fingers crossed. They are catching the train to M/Hall and I will pick them up and drop them off at home. Weather wise it should be dull but not too cold, upper 50s.
Have made some cassulet for them Mary Sue, so we will see what they think. Have copied the recipe for Sandra.
Understand Gina has been having a good time in London on her first Hen Night as a bridesmaid. There is one to follow in Sheffield. I await news of the events with bated breath?
My neighbour next door is back on and off. News from the hairdresser is that he keeps trying to hang himself???? We also have a cross dresser down the road, not sure who but he doesn't go out in his ladies clothes. It is a bit like Wisteria Close here, ( Desperate Housewives).
We have resorted to Hot Chocolate and my home made chocolate chip cookies tonight, not sure why but it is worth it. We usually share a large cup, me getting first chance. Have been so engrossed in Coro and typing this blog that I have nearly finished the mug. Michael is making another one bless him.
Very good on tele tonight as well. Am settling down for Spooks then off to bed.
Bottles are in
Night All.

Well Mam you had me laughing aloud when you drunk the hot chocolate and Michael had to make another mug.
The things these poor Rotherham lads have to put up with. Graham
Aww how nice of her to remember me! I'm glad you had a lovely time. I will update with all the hen night news when I get home.
