Getting Warmer

The past two days have been beautiful, spring weather at it's best and today is supposed to be good?
Am up early blogging as Michael woke me up at 6-30am to tell me how well I had slept??? He does it all the time. He then goes back to sleep and I am left wide awake. Murder has been threatened but to no avail, he forgets you see.

Made a big mistake of working all day in the garden Friday following a hard yoga class Thursday night. Saturday could hardly move. Then spent most of Saturday looking for a new web cam that I had bought before we left for Aus. Demented or what!!!!
I have decided on a plan to take each room apart methodically until I find it.
That is why Michael can go back to sleep and I can't. He has nothing on his mind, I have mislaid web cams and a host of other stuff that is there the minute I wake.

Had a long chat with Natasha yesterday. She is coming over with Chris Monday teatime for a visit. It will be lovely to see them and catch up.They both work so hard. Chris manages a Starbucks Cafe full time in York and is doing a chefs course on his days off at a restuarant across the road. He did his basic training a couple of years ago so is learning more advanced stuff now.
Natasha is finishing her dissertation off and is out on placement soon in Huddersfield for two weeks for the final bit of her degree and she works at Starbucks to support herself. Oh to be young and have that energy?

Spent a couple of hours with Joseph and Karon Friday night. J still has bits of work keeping him afloat and Karon is worn out at the moment from work. She has had a difficult time with a patient who is inappropriately placed. The usual stuff, the womans parents are good friends of the consultant and the hospital managers bow down to the consultant. So they are dealing with some screaming dervish who has borderline learning difficulties and constantly tells them she knows her rights.

Caught up with Rachael, she has moved into an apartment with her bloke, Dave. She seems settled and happy. She is braindead in the job she is doing, but one has to creep up to the bosses to get promotion it would seem. She said she cannot do it and they either like her or they don't. She said she cannot get into buying the boss a bun when lunchtime sandwiches are bought. She said it is sad to see 40year olds asking the boss if they would like a bun so they can curry favour.
The problem is that there aren't many jobs out there to apply for so at the moment she is stuck.

Had a desperate phone call from my neighbour Paul 9pm Friday asking me where his stop tap was as there was water everywhere. I went round and there are three blokes who hadn't a clue. They are decorating upstairs and one had tried to take a radiator off and snapped the pipe. They still had the radiators running so it was pumpimg water out. I gently explained that they needed to turn the radiators off not the stop tap under the sink and that they were in no way connected. I tried hard not to laugh, they were soaked and running around like headless chickens with bowls and buckets.Have kept a low profile since.

We are awaiting news from Aus re the football results. Michael starts asking Saturday night so please let us know so he can relax.
Not much else to report. My life seems so mundane compared to S&G operating on chickens etc. Michael has made a plate of fruit for breakfast so am off to tuck in.
Guday to all.

Why isn't the web cam near your computer is the question I am asking?
