I am having trouble with my pictures, it is showing me numbers instead of images of the new ones, so I don't know which is which.
Anyway Mary Sue this is one of a handmade rocking chair that I took at the Arts Centre on Bribie. I think it is either $1.700 or $1900 aus dollars.
We haven't heard anymore from the intrepid explorers up in Carnarvan. Hope they are OK?
Let us know if you have heard anything Gina.
Life carries on in it's own peaceful way here. I have joined a gym and make about 3/4 classes a week, yoga and pilates with the odd step class for good measure. I am roughly the same weight as when I came and all my clothes still fit so I must be doing something right. We both look fit and well with a bit of a tan, mostly from being out and about. We follow the Aussie rule and do not sunbathe, have seen too many people with scars on their faces from cancerous spots.
Spoke to Muneer last night on the web cam, he said that it was a few deg warmer but it is still dangerous in the mornings with ice from overnight freezing. I do hope it gets warmer for you all in the next few days.
Sandra is on hols from work this week so she has been catching up on jobs around the house.
We are off to Toowoomba this weekend, Fri/Sat with S&S for a little break and to meet up with folks.
Michael is helping Sameer with football coaching from next week, Tues and Thurs so he will be in his elements again.
Sameer is going to Tasmania for a week the end of January to do some football coaching, can't wait to hear what he thinks of the place?
We think there may be some building work soon on the plot next door. We've seen people with plans and pacing it out etc.
Have been watching the people across the canal fishing, they pull up some decent sized fish. Twice he pulled up what looked like smallish stingrays, but he put them back, they also have crab pots but haven't witnessed any catches there.
It is the height of their summer holidays here and everywhere is at a premium. We are thinking of a trip to Melbourne but was told by my hairdresser not to go until the end of March into April as it is too hot there, 40deg is the norm now it would seem. He said it was more European in fashion, culture and food. They don't have shopping malls but High streets with shops like England so you are out in the sun all day.
Not much else to report except Michael has done his usual, woke me up at 5am got back into bed and is snoring peacefully at my side now. It was a choice between the 6-15am stretch class or write the blog, this felt easier?
Am watching a gaggle? of ducks on the land next door, they are so funny and noisy. It looks like another lovely day, not humid and a bit of cloud to cool things down occasionally.
Will wish you all a very good morning and have a crack at those pictures again.

The picture I see is of the rocking chair. Pretty expensive huh.
Sonia, you had me laughing good at your remarks about Michael doing his "usual" and waking you at 5 then him going back to sleep while you lay wide awake.
Sounds from Grahams comments that they (at least Graham) has found his heaven...wonder if he's house shopping up/down/over/around there.
