A Busy Week.

The days all blend into one 'when you are old'. It has been an exciting week that is for sure.
First S&S arrived, followed by the US election, I had my check up with the nurse and my BP was good. Had a cracking yoga workout Thursday evening loosened up with Aqua today, spent a couple of hours and a nice lunch with Sandra at Meadowhall then finished the day off with a flu jab.
The weather from Tuesday has been awful, dull, misty and raining. It changed mid morning today and the sun came out.
On the election front I think we have to give the man (Obama) a chance. I never had you down as a 'glass half empty' man Fuad, as human beings we have to have hope and I sense a new feeling of hope around the election of this man. It was the same when Kennedy was elected and shame on the secret services if they let the same happen to Obama as happened to Kennedy. In a world of wars, credit crunches, poverty and greed it is good to have a feel good factor about something?
Am still making the chocolate chip cookies and michael is still eating them. Made some lovely scones yesterday, my best ever? Sandra says her co-worker Merle makes wonderful scones and the secret ingredient is lemonade, a can of?? Apparently the recipe originates from New Zealand.Do any of the cooks out there know of this recipe?
Michael is out with Sameer at a coaches meeting at the moment and Muneer won Sameer at golf yesterday.
Not much else to report.
Night all.

Sonia, I got the white blouse, thank you very much. I like it and it fits, but haven't tried it yet with a cami, or it could go under something too.
Did you get your carry-on bag yet?
Mike is already telling me how Obama is going back on his word, this after Obama's first president-elect news conference. The baking sounds good Sonia, it always gives me a good feeling.

Not a glass half empty at all. That's like saying the same thing because I don't believe in religion. Remember, everyone was saying the same things when Bush was elected.
