Departures and Arrivals.

S&S left Monday Morning on the 9-15am Singapore Airlines flight and arrived ahead of time in Brisbane Tuesday evening their time. Sandra spoke to Michael whilst I was at the gym.
They had had a really good flight on all sections, being ahead of time and having three seats each which allowed them to sleep. It does pay to go off peak both financially and seat wise.
It feels really weird and sad when they go and I am not myself for a few days, I am like that when I get home from Kansas.
Natasha rang me this afternoon and we had a long chat, she said she felt much the same.
I think they enjoyed their time here, other than the weather and we had a nice famoly do.
Pauline is back at work after her ordeal last Thursday. She was attacked by two men who jumped out of a car and stole her bag of letters that she was delivering. Luckily she wasn't harmed physically but she was really shook up.
Her bag was almost empty so they went away almost empty handed. An armed response police car was there within minutes but the thieves had gone and poor Pauline was so shocked she could only remember that the car was a blue colour and that the men were white.
On the same day half an hour later, Racheals boyfriend Dave who is an electrician was working for his firm on a council house which was being modernised when the front door was knocked in by riot police in full gear shouting. Dave was working in the airing cupboard at the time and wondered what was happening.
The police told him that the house was used to store stolen goods and was raided about 3 times a year. Dave said he wondered how the tenents could afford all the luxury items that were in the house????
Life is never boring in Rotherham!!!!!!!!
Michael is off to Coventry tomorrow on an FA tutors club event.
I am getting prepared for the sisters which I am hosting on Saturday.
Other than that there is nothing much to report.
It is about 4-20pm and there is the most spectacular sunset. Everywhere is suffused with a beautiful pink glow. It only lasts for about 5mins but it is pretty stunning to witness.
It has been Kansas type weather the past few days. It is good as we need the cold to kill the bugs off?
Well that is all for now folks
An early goodnight to you all.

Oh! Our unleaded petrol is now 89.99 a litre which is a lot better than £1.20 as before.

Poor Pauline. That must have been a terrifying ordeal.
