Days seem to fly by at the moment. Have spent most of the time outdoors as it is warm and sunny????????? no rain for 3days. We powerwashed our drive, patio and deck, it looks different class. Naomi stayed for the past 2 nights, she drives me anywhere I need to go to get practice in. She is much more confidant now, my only concern is that she doesn't pick up any bad habits or shortcuts before her test if you get my drift.
Fuad and mary Sue are on their way home and passed through some of my favourite bits of America, Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota, stunningly beautiful countryside. I am more a mountain than beach person, I will use the awesome for the mountains as that aptly describes them.
Have decided on the tile for my kitchen floor and hope the electrician rings today to set a date. I want to get it done before I plan my Kansas trip.
On the ankle front, saw my GP yesterday, apparently there is a 12 week wait list for the orthopaedic physios, explained I was seeing one privately and the she had suggested I have an ultrasound to ascertain what condition my tendon is in? he doesn't want me to pay so he faxed the physio dept and said mine was urgent, he said they will organise an ultrasound on the NHS and move me up the list.
We are still working away at the allotment, the peas are nearly at the end and some of the potatoes will be ready for lifting. I think most of the veg has survived the rain as the ground is on a slope so it hasn't become waterlogged. went up last night and lit a bonfire, there is still loads of stuff to get rid of. Michael is up there clearing the bottom bit. We may get some chickens when it is cleared.
Am off to have a bit of breakfast with Naomi then on to the Asda then some weeding. What an exciting life I lead???
