A Busy Day

Sorted a load of stuff out in the garage then took the rubbish to the dumpit site. Finally put the last of the xmas bits and pieces away. Had a long phone call with Lisa, she says Pat feels like she could manage a little company. She asked me to let everyone know, I did.
Natasha is applying for a job working with people with learning difficulties so she asked if I would write her a letter to go with her CV as she was at college all day. One of her tutors does a shift there every weekend and recommended Natasha. It is a private place and she would get £7 per hour and double for weekends. She is saving desperatly for her trip to Aus in August. So after I had done that I made a lamb stew for Michael tomorrow and took another phone call from a coach who said he had a job for Michael, wouldn't say what or where but he said it could be short or long term. It will probably be in Timbukto,China or outer Mongolia? It will be interesting to see how he deals with this one?
Then had an even longer phone call with an Australian woman about her son who Michael is mentoring.
Managed to get a bite to eat, then my friend Dilys rang, her birthday is the same as mine, we worked together so had 45mins with her and I am to go to Leeds on the 31st to have lunch at her house.
By this time I was beat and still had lots to do.
Had a good day with Samia and naomi yesterday at Salford University. Samia had a major pivitol role in which she alternated between bickering and squabbling with Naomi and telling me I was wrong nearly everytime I opened my mouth. Mothers and daughters, can't beat them.
On that note I will retire, bottles are in and it is my last night alone for some time as the lovely Michael will be back tomorrow so I will be disturbed about 3 times a night.
On the ankle front it is a little better, stairs hurt so I have to do them one legged so to speak.
Night all.
