A very quiet day.

I really appreciate my pensioners travel pass on days like this. Drove into Chapeltown, parked up, waited 5mins then caught the train into town. Got off the train and straight onto a tram outside the station, got off on West St and was in Cole Bros,35mins from start to finish and all free.
It was cold made worse by the wind but hurrah the sun was shining. Walked down town and called in to see Naomi on her first day as a supervisor, bless her she looked a bit lost but will survive I'm sure.
Came home the same way and was lucky with the timing again. Did a bit more sorting then relaxed for the evening.
Michael rang at his usual time and he is ok other than his calf. He is having daily massages on it but at our age I think time is the great healer and it takes much longer than in your 40s.
Am off to put the hot water bottles in, one has to have a routine?
Night all

Would it take you longer to get into town if your drove?

About the same time or longer depending on traffic and I would have to find somewhere to park and pay through the nose for the priviledge. When I do the train route I am not rushed as I am not worried about the car and the cost etc

Sheffield is a nightmare for parking.

Although I miss the shops, I'm glad it's not that bad here.
