Michael, to Limp or not

Saw the physio today re Michael and his limp.A fun time was had by all? Sarah the physio couldn't believe how fit Michael is for his age. I ended up answering most of her questions as Michael drove to Barnsley via Newcastle to say anything. Sarah was the Physio who had treat my achilles and Muneers ankle, she wanted to know if it was a family condition?
Anyway after much raising, twisting and pressing of legs she said she was baffled as to the cause of his pain and gave him my diagnosis, overuse, wear and tear and age.Sarah gave him a couple of sheets of exercises which he has to do twice daily an sent us off, laughing into the night.
Welcome to S&S who have joined our blogging circle, I hope we will now get regular news from down under. They both sounded well and in good spirits when they rang me today.Said the temp was in the 70s and perfect?
Looked around a couple of health clubs today, one at Tankersley Manor which is 5 mins from our house and one about 7miles away. The nearest one is a bit more expensive but I would save on petrol and time.It is getting harder to walk any distance with my achilles tendon so I could mitigate this by exercising in the pool and doing a yoga class. Will decide tomorrow.
Am going to look for flights to Portugal now, from Manchester if possible so we can go to the airport on the train. It will be the end of Feb before we know if the Turkish work will continue or not, so we need to get a break in together just in case
Today has been dry, windy and not too cold but no sunshine.
Glad to see S&G are having a good time in Kansas, Billy will miss them when they leave, depression will set in. Standards are being set which cannot be maintained, I think they will have to adopt him and have him shipped over to Mablethorpe??
Night all.

Doing non bearing stuff will help. That's why I ride the bike and do the elliptical every morning at the gym.

Yoga rules. The more I do it, the more I love it. Not only does it improve my flexibility and strength, it really does help me calm my nervousness (a little red wine helps with that part too). But, like any exercise, it takes time and the biggest challenge for me is making the time to do it everyday. Again, yoga rules.
