Michael is home

At the 'Asda' at 9am it was very busy and raining heavily but not too cold. they are refurbishing the store and putting in a rotisserie etc so are closing this Sunday to finish it off. All will be revealed on Monday. To any one who is interested the Co-op in town is closing down. It was the first dept store in Sheffield.
Was kept busy, Michael landed on time and Muneer picked him up from the station as I was waiting for the gas fitter to fix my fire.
I like it but it sticks out further than I thought, expect we will get used to it. They were very efficient and only charged £55 to take the old one out, cut out the aperture, finished it off nicely and cleaned all their mess up.
Michael couldn't keep his eyes open so we had the lamb stew with dumplings I had made with no help from David Copperfield let me impress and he was in bed for 7pm and bang out.
We have an appt next week for Michael to see the Physio for his calf, I hope she gives him some good advice as I know it is getting him down.
I had told most of his callers that he wasn't home until Saturday to give him a bit of a rest.He has a lot on tomorrow and I will go and see Pat, she is slowly improving but her leg is going to take some time I feel?
Susan and Joseph visited her today and I am going tomorrow. Spoke to Susan on the phone and rang Sheila to keep her up to date, it was snowing again in Kansas and they had been out in Fuads car for the first time, he is away in Baltimore.
Have just watched Coro and Vera Duckworth dying, thought they handled it very well, it was a real tear jerker.
Have just had a small drink of an innocent smoothie and it has given me real heartburn so am having a drink of milk and sucking on an antacid.
Am watching a new programme on the tele and it is based in Cornwall, the scenery and beaches are absolutely stunning, it is somewhere Michael and myself always wanted to visit, perhaps sometime this year???
Will put just one bottle in tonight, hope I can sleep.
Night all.

Can't believe you made another lamb stew. I have yet to taste yours without the help of David Copperfield.
