Countdown

Meadowhall first thing to take some stuff back and buy some bits and pieces for our trip. It was bright and sunny though cold, it feels so much better when the sun shines.
Fuads xmas parcel finally arrived so posted the cards to Pat and took Josephs over as I had some stuff to take to their house for him, enjoyed a quick visit.
just got back home when Natasha rang, had a long chat, she was ok but missing her mum and dad. She is saving hard to visit them in July/ August.
Watched a programme on Liz Dawn/ Vera Duckworth, she has smoked all her life and now suffers badly from emphysema, she can barely walk hence her departure from Coro. She apologised to everyone she had smoked next to and begged people to give it up.
Am off to Leeds tomorrow to see a friend for the day, it is supposed to rain heavily, we shall see.
Michael is watching a football match on TV, they appear to be wall to wall of late and not all of them good he says.
David Attenborough has made a new series on amphibians 'Life in cold blood'so will watch that then off to bed.
Night all.

Glad to see the parcel arrive and yes the sun does make a huge difference. Most of our winter is dry and sunny...cold yes, but dry and sunny.
