Lovely Day

A glorious day but somewhat spoiled by the wind. However we must not complain, the sun is shining, snowdrops, crocuses, primroses and daffodils are out and the world looks more cheerful.
Spent the morning clearing out two drawers in the filing cabint. I'm nothing if organised however some of the stuff all nicely filed went back to 1994. I have way too much to shred so will take it up to Josephs when I have done the other drawers and have a bonfire on his allotment, well away from the livestock of course. It has been like all our yesterdays looking at stuff and it does slow the process down somewhat but I soldiered on.
Michael rang me last night sounding very tired and hoarse, it was 20 after midnight in Turkey, I think he is ok? he wasn't very talkative bless him.
Back to my heel, it doesn't really hurt underneath, it is more on that egg shaped bone that sticks out at the back of the heel and round the edge. What is more weird today is I have worn my Clarks ankle boots bought in Ankeny that have a 2" heel and walked around Meadowhall and not a sensation of pain so I may have had a miraculous recovery like I did last time????? hopefully so then I can get back to walking again until it breaks down again. So Mary Sue it is anyones guess what is wrong with it at the moment. We should take bets prior to my ultrasound, I bet it will be wear and tear and old age or RSI as it flares up everytime I start to walk. When I wear my trainers it presses on the back of the heel and starts up again, bugger, bugger, bugger as Hugh Grant would say.
I need something to whinge about, I have toothache, I think it has been caused by using an ordinary toothbrush in Portugal and not my electic one, it is murder trying to drink anything warm, it is hypersensitive in that area. I have a regular appt with the dentist next week so am going to ring to see if he can slot me in tomorrow or I will not enjoy my curry tomorrow night.
Had a long chat with Sandra on Monday, she is well and working hard, selling jewellery as if it is going out of fashion, she would earn a fortune if she was on commission.
I agree she should have her own little shop, she would make a mint but they cannot do anything until they get permenant residence status.
Natasha also rang, she is well and working hard at Uni and Starbucks.
Well guys and gals am off to put my bottles in, it doesn't look like Michael is ringing tonight, I am watching prime suspect 6 so will probably fall asleep before it finishes.
Have just watched a drama programme called 'Clocking Off' if you havent seen it get the series, well worth seeing, it is on ITV.
Night All.

Oooh that shoe thing could be interesting. The achilles has problems when it is stressed. So when you wore your boots with the 2 inch heels, your tendon is shrunk and not as stretched as when you where birkenstocks or flats.

Mam, get that toothache sorted out right away. I wouldn't wish toothache on my worst enemy.

I don't remember the boots. Do you think it's the ankle support of a boot, or the 2" heel that helped (no stretch on the tendon). I love my hiking boots I got in Whitefish. They're like hightop running shoes...good ankle support and great cushion underneath and around the ankle. Well, in any case, I hope it gets better for you.
And, nothing is worse than a toothache (except maybe help you forget the sore heel). Hope it gets better really soon.
