Had a lovely birthday day. In the morning I carried on with the total spring clean of the office, it is looking and feeling better. Naomi picked me up after lunch and off we went to Meadowhall. She drove on the motorway and did really well.
We were going to see 'The other Bolyn Girl' but it isn't out until the 7th of March so we saw 'Juno'. What a lovely film, so glad we saw it.
Had something to eat then did a bit of shopping. I had a voucher and some tokens so we spent quite a lot of time looking at handbags, returning twice but I resisted and bought Michael some expensive Shampoo and conditioner for sensitive scalps instead.
We were both tired out, even for ice cream so she drove back on the motorway in the dark to take me home and it was an early night with the bottles for me. A good time was had by all.
Have spent all of Friday in the office other than a couple of hours at Josephs burning the rubbish from the office. Both Karon and Joseph were down the garden with Trevor cutting back the two trees to make more space for the chickens and ducks. Karon said that when wild ducks fly over and squawk their ducks get all excited and answer back. They are probably saying get us out of here???
The rain started about 11-30am and has just got worse, winds are supposed to reach up to 75mls an hour, it certainly sounds as if they have. Is this the aftermath of the quake I ask myself and anyone else who is interested?
Michael rang, he is ok and working hard, he will be home Sunday afternoon all being well.
Pat is home from hospital today. Will let her settle in and go and see her next week.
On the heel front all is still well. Wore my hiking boots today to go over to Josephs and was ok. Will wear them to walk in next week and start off gently.
Sandra rang this morning with tales from Toowoomba, Sameer has his first official match tomorrow so it is nerves all round. She is going to text me the score. She has been so busy working full time, 8-6pm she is too tired to write her blog and their system is so slow she would be asleep before it had fired up, trust me I have experienced it. You can cook a Sunday lunch in between switching it on and it being ready to use.
Natasha rang me and she has had a week off work to catch up on her Uni and housework, she sounds really chilled out and getting excited about her trip to Aus in July. She is saving really hard and as a seasoned student she knows how to do it.
I am so impressed with her determination and fortitude.
That is all, no excitement today just much of the same old, same old.
Bottles are in and I am tired.
Night all

I'm not one for wasting money on handbags but I think that would be money better spent than expensive shampoo and conditioner for Michael...he has no hair!!
Would that be a david copperfield or genuine sunday lunch?and O DEARMontana is in trouble for that comment. Graham
