Well we have been to Portugal, got home changed the contents of one suitcase and Michael is now in Istanbul for a week. His calf is much better but he hasn't done any football training for 2 weeks so we are keeping our fingers crossed. My heel is much the same, I have pain to a greater or lesser degree the whole time I walk. My friend thinks I have 'plantar fasctitus' and a heel spur, check them out Fuad and tell me what you think.
How to tell the difference between a southern and northern european in Portugal last week. The southern European wears thick trousers, woolly jumpers, leather jackets, scarves and gloves. The northern europeans wears shorts, flip flops, and t.shirts with the obligatory white legs, it is a spectator sport.I was glad to get home, a week is enough for me,I missed my bed and my house is it a symptom of old age? Michael liked it as there was a gym in the hotel and he could get a daily workout and could totally chill out.
Have been to joseph and karons and seen the 6 chickens and 2 ducks they have adopted. They are at the bottom of the allotment and when we have cleared two trees from the bottom and doubled the size of the run we are going to get some more and joseph will sell the eggs. He feeds them with organic pellets and they get the grit from the garden, there isn't a weed in sight where they live so we are going to let them have the run of the garden to get rid of the rest of the weeds.I hope to get up there next week to do a bit.
Am going for an Indian on Wed with Muneer Pauline and Rachael for Paulines birtday, we are going to one in Ecclesfield which is fairly new and very good, they do a buffet for £8-95 and the food is delicious. It is always full and you have to book to get in.
Have just watched a special programme for Bruce Forsythes 80 birthday and he is still going strong, he was born before penicillin was invented, his two eldest daughters look nearly as old as him, he has 6 kids in all.
Glad to hear that the seminar went well, you will both be glad it is over I expect?
Sameers football season starts Wednesday so good luck to him we hope they do well.
Not much else to report, no dramas here with snakes etc, it is still too bloody cold for that. Apparently they had ice rain whilst we were away and the trees were covered in clear ice as in Kansas but it didn't last long.
I need to get my bottles in bed and get settled, I never usually sleep on Michaels first night away so I need to get settled. If I don't sleep I can always watch the Oscars, don't think we will do anything this year but who knows?
Night all.

Plantar Fascitus is the tightening and tenderness of the tendon on the sole of your foot from your heel to the ball of your foot. If you press hard and massage the sole of your foot right where the heel ends and the arch starts you will know if it is PF as it will hurt like hell.
We are just settling down to watch the Oscars so I wonder if you are awake.
I was told by a foot doctor years ago that I had plantar fascitus. I had gone because the backs of my legs were so painful. I think the symptoms are different for different people. The doctor recommended the molded arch supports which helped (but they're expensive and bothersome) but now I just make sure I have good cushion under my feet which is why I wear my good running shoes all day long. I can tell my yoga has helped me tons too.
