Getting ready for Turkey

A couple of grey days and much cooler.
Out with Joseph and Karon, it was her b/day Thurs. We had a meal at the Indian in Ecclesfield, it was really good and the place was busy. It has a pub atmosphere and is welcoming.
Michael has started to withdraw into his Turkish coach persona, writing stuff in books and getting papers together etc.
I had a really good yoga class yesterday and did an Aqua class today. 3 men joined the class after talking to the instructor, they thought it was easy peasy and for old ladies, boy did they get a shock. It was fun to watch, two of them have booked in for next week????
Natasha rang me Thursday following a two and a half hour exam. She said her head hurt, not a headache but just hurting so we talked as she walked home and wound down. She has another exam left and two essays to write then she is finished with her 2nd year, she can't wait??
Doncaster and Leeds are in the final play offs, should be fun.
We are expecting rain this weekend, have had a slight drizzle tonight.
Made some of Sandras brownies today, Michael says it is a technical move on my part as he is going away Sunday so will not get his fair share of them, poor love.
Not sure what is causing it but the skin on my hands is really tight and sore especially between my fingers, I am putting stuff on but it doesn't appear to be working. It is probably the chlorine in the pool. I try to cure one thing and something else crops up, I cannot win.
Little else to report.
Night all

Sonia, I wonder if you could put something on your hands before you get into the pool, you know, like a vaseline or what goes on baby's bottom to prevent diaper rash? Could be worth a try. Brownies sound good, it's the cooler days that makes one want to bake. Today I hung new cabinet door hinges in laundry room, hearth room and our bathroom...am slowing getting rid of all bright brassy stuff!
