Had a quiet Christmas Eve. Dropped some cards off at Pats, didn't knock on the door as she never answers it. Had an hour with S&S, Liam Roxanne and Natasha. They took the proverbial out of Michael and his pensioner status, wanted to know where his zimmer frame was etc.
Filled Michaels car up with diesel, a few pence short of £50 then home. Had a quiet time watching TV, knitting and dozing. Spoke with S&G and Gina, they were having a serious debate about which tablecloth to use for Xmas day. The weather is turning warmer so all the frost has gone and the rain cometh. was too tired to write a blog, had restless legs so retired to bed early.
Wide awake on Xmas day at 4am, finished a book and watched some TV, enjoying the Two Ronnies at the moment. Had a phone call at 7-45am, it was a coach from Turkey wanting to say Happy Christmas to Michael, it is good to know there are some enlightened Muslims out there?
Micheal brought me some breakfast in bed, on a tray, I normally get the meal in bits on plates, he is getting there bless him.
We are doing some basic computer training with him at the moment, he can now load a disc and play it, I have also taught him how to answer an email so if you all send him one I can encourage him to answer them? Naomi came after she had dropped her mother off at work and she taught Michael how to text on his mobile, well he picked it up in an instant and was texting eveyone and getting excited when people texted him back. He did however say he would have probably forgotten how to do it tomorrow?
Am looking forward to xmas lunch, I will get up soon and start the turkey. Samia rang and said they were really busy at work, loads of babies being born and all big and healthy.
Had a lovely lunch, started about 2pm and finished about 3pm.
Muneer and Rachael picked up S&S and crew about 4-30 and a jolly good time was had by all. Liam and Roxanne were dropped off at her mothers house where they had to face a second Xmas meal at 8pm, sooner them than me.
Both Coro and Eastenders were good, with the usual dramas, watched a Christmas edition of Strictly Come dancing, the the film Love Actually which I first saw in Kansas. All this was interspersed with the 2 Ronnies, Only Fools and Horses and a bit of Morcambe and Wise and Dads Army, a perfect Xmas viewing. The viral cold has reached Sandra and she looked rough when we dropped them off at home, she said she was going straight to bed.
Am sick to death of adverts for leather sofas in the sales, next to come are summer holidays.
Michael and S&S will probably be on the same train to Manchester airport on the 2nd of jan as they fly at nearly the same time. It doesn't get any easier saying goodbye but I think they are ready to go home, especially to leave this cold miserable weather behind.
It is 1-15am and I cannot sleep, probably too much rich food as I havent had a drink.
Not much else to report. Hope all went well in Preston and you saw a good movie in Kansas, was surprised the cinemas were open, 99% of England shuts down and people don't surface until Jan 2nd.
Happy Christmas to all.
Will try and sleep now.

I was just thinking earlier as I was flicking through the channels and nothing good was on...nor was their anything really Christmasy on...that I wish I could get English TV. So what you had on tonight seemed about perfect.
Having said that, there are some great clips of the Two Ronnies, Dad's Army, Morecambe and Wise, etc. on Youtube.
Sonia...I got a cup of tea in bed this week (then I got up and make breakfast)!
Lucky for you santa comes at midnight you being awake at 4am.
