I cannot remember where the time has gone this week. The weather has been mostly bad with torrential rain and gale force winds. Very hard to get a walk in some days.
Am starting to feel weepy at the eminent departure of S&S, Michael leaves for Turkey on the same day which doesn't help. At times like this I just want to hibernate. It feels like I am constantly saying goodbye to the people I love.
I will busy myself with stuff around the house and garden. Was out of the country for 3 months and it shows in the garden, my poor worms have been neglected as well, so yes there is lots to do.
On the upside Had Sandra, Liam, Roxanne Joseph and karon round for a curry I made tonight. Sameer and Natasha both too ill to come. Sameer has been really ill with a raging temp, he was delerious and has a bad chest infection, Natasha is just knackered from the sheer volume of work she has to do both at Uni and to survive and Muneer was on nights and Samia was working, a pleasureable evening was had by all.
Michael went over to Paulines to have his pre Turkey haircut today and he is slowly getting his library together to take out with him.
Naomi has been promoted to weekend supervisor on her shop floor and will now earn more an hour than Samia. She wrote her own letter of application and is thrilled to bits.
Joseph is sending job applications off all over the place, both England and the Middle East, we can just hope on that front?
Weather was good today, sunny and not too cold, had a good walk.
Lovely to see that Gina has joined the bloggers club, G,A and P should provide us with some interesting news from the other side (Lancs). Welcome to the world of boilers, ovens and other electrical contraptions that always break down when you least expect or need, the only way is up Gina. Make sure you have in your circle of friends, friends of friends and aquaintences a builder, plumber, electrician and general DIY person. They are worth their weight in gold, believe me.
Mary Sue, finished my first pidge, only used 33 stitches and still it feels too wide. Will only cast on 27 stitches for my next one and see how that one pans out.
Am off to bed.
Night all

Sameer had a chest problem when he was here. Those cigars don't help.
The books are ordered and being delivered as we write, the WI ladies are well orgnised and let no grass grow under their feet.(note the agricultural reference)
For once I think Montana has a point re cigars.
