Sun at Last

Friday was much the same as the rest of the week, dull and grey.
Saturday, Asda at 8am and it was heaving, went straight on my walk when we got back. Michael and myself scrubbed the kitchen floor with some chemical stuff that Muneer gave us to remove all the grout stains, it was hard work but what a difference and well worth the effort.
Made a pasta bake and was just ready to serve it when Samia and Naomi turned up, there was enought to go round so a good meal was enjoyed by all.
Samia is still not well but a little better, she has been on holiday this week from work and hasn't been anywhere. Her doctor has given her a sick note, she is due back at work on xmas eve?
Watched the finals of Strictly come Dancing, ours is on the BBC so no adverts, a brilliant show and the couple won who we all wanted to, it was vey emotional, it makes a lot of money for Children in Need.
Have we any advance on the laying of hands?
Still knitting my pidge Mary Sue, it is boring but no where near as I expect loading up your new hard drive is, what a mind blowing task for Christmas. Received a card from Jake Sarah and Lauren, what a handsome family they make, Lauren is really growing isn't she?
It is forcast for rain and warmer for xmas eve and day, am really looking forward to it, Christmas that is.
Am picking the turkey up tomorrow from the farm, I am cooking the Turkey and making the gravy. Will probably marinade it if i can fing Nigellas recipe.
Sandra is taking her mum and Roxanne to York tomorrow on the train to see where Natasha lives and to come home with her, she has 2 weeks off now. Have hardly seen S&S since they got home as Sandra has been busy spending time with her family and friends and sameer has been involved in football and they get invited out so much it is hard to book a slot. It will be good to see them all on xmas day.
Was going to take a picture of my finished kitchen for you Mary Sue but the battery in the camera was flat so it is charging up for tomorrow.
S&G are at Ginas, since Friday, they are staying over Xmas and will undoubtedly be doing a lot of DIY? mind you they were both made up with cold when they left Mablethorpe. Hope they are feeling better?
Michael is enjoying being a pensioner, he has to wait until the 24th for it to be paid in the bank.
Have had my cocoa, Michael is watching MOTD and I am off to bed.
Oh! I forgot, we saw the sun for about an hour before it clouded over again with freezing fog and we had a bit of rain this afternoon

Night all

Poor Michael. Making him scrub the floor the day after his birthday. Was this another David Copperfield trick you pulled Mam?

Tell Michael not to let them pay his pension monthly they hold it back for 7 weeks, get it weekly, and dont buy a Rolls with it!!
A little more apreciation of your magic tricks from Montana Mike would not come amiss.Though I have to say it was an unusual birthday present, even more than the knife sharpener I bought Sheila,I think you are winning at the moment Sonia.
