Michaels Day Off??????????

This is the only day this week that we can spend together and Michael can have a break?

He picked up some info from Sheff & Hallamshire FA re his work on Saturday and dropped some portfolios off at Hillsborough College this morning whilst I went for a walk. He is still limping from his calf and I still have a sore spot on my ankle but we soldier on.

Michael had his eyes tested and there is little change from last time (2 years ago), the test is free when you are a pensioner here. We chose some new glasses for him, it was 25% off the frames and lenses. In the new year it will be 2 for the price of 1 so we will get him 2 more pairs then he should be watertight, glasses wise, so to speak.

Sandra has ants in her pants at the moment and is gardening, meeting with friends and family and generally on the go all the time. I mentioned the blog when she was here and she said she would do it. I think they have been doing stuff whilst Sameer had transport, he finishes with the Aussies in London this Friday.

Naomi and Samia are coming up to look at the kitchen, I still can't get my head around the fact that she can drive and very competently too might I add.

Spoke to Sheila she is up to the eyes with WI stuff, she will be president before long. Then I think she said she was going over to see Gina and Andys new house, which I think had been left in a bit of a state?

When we moved to Idsworth Road and you were all little, the man took the cooker and gas fire so we had no money, no fire, no central heating then and nothing to cook on, they had both been included in the sale, it was a nightmare to say the least.

House moving is a nightmare, we have talked about it but cannot think where else we would live, High Green is so central for everywhere and I guess we are in a comfort zone?
Pete my DIY fireman is back tomorrow to do yet more bits and pieces, however the wood for my plinths does not arrive until Thurs, so he will have to come another day to do those and it cannot be raining as he has to cut them outside.
We has dinner at Pickwicks in the village with S&N, it is two meals for the price of one, deserts the same. A good time was had by all.
Michael is watching football and I am knitting and watching Spooks.
Will put some pictures on when I can find my camera.
Night all.

Tell me about this house moving stuff. I have done more than anyone and am in the process yet again.
