Back Home

We travelled home yesterday after a relaxing break through some impressive snow showers. There was little or no traffic on the roads so it was a straight forward journey.
Having had such a wonderful Sunday lunch at S&Gs we did not require major sustenance on arrival at home.We called in at Muneers to drop some trout off and Michael watched the second half of the Chelsea/Arsenal match, then we left and filled up with petrol, the cheapest is now £1.05 a litre and headed home. We had a toasted teacake and a cup of tea for supper, Michael put the bottles in and we retired for the night.
Monday was freezing cold. Had a phone call from the ozzie branch and envied their w/end on the sunshine coast, they had enjoyed their break also.
Michael left to coach the Aussie boy and I ventured out for a walk around the lump in my hiking boots. Had a long chat with a retired couple who I talk to whose only daughter is married and lives in LA. They have made the decision to move over there permenantly so we discussed the details of a green card application. Their daughter is now a citizen so it will be straight forward, they are both retired police officers so I cannot envisage any problems.
It started to snow heavily so we moved on and I got around with out any pain in my heel. I am so unfit with this business I just wish I could walk again like I used to.
I go for my ultrasound on Wed then have to wait for the results to be sent back to my GP then I will have to see the specialist again to see what next if anything.
It is now time to eat out evening meal, we are having trout, veg and roasted sweet potato. Michael is watching a match following a restful day reading the papers etc.
I have the dentist tomorrow at 9am. It isn't as painful but the sensitivity is still there so we will see what he says.
Am signing off early tonight, the snow showers have stopped and it is sunny and still but still freezing. We expect it to be 3-4deg below freezing through the night so the bottles will need to be in later.
night all.

Dinner sounds good and healthy Mam. I am interested to see how the ultra sound turns out.
