Oh What a Lovely Day

Other than intermittant toothache and my heel hurting it has been a good day, it has been beautiful spring weather, warm and sunny. I was out at Asda at 8-30am whilst Michael was out coaching at the same time. We then went over to Josephs who was busy cutting the lower branches off a very tall conifer. We took Sam the dog down the allotment and I proceeded to burn yet more rubbish whilst Michael sat on a stool and threw a ball for Sam. Poor old Sam is developing problems with his eyesight and to us his sense of smell so it took ages for him to find the ball.
We then called into Lilys for a sandwich and bun which we had for lunch. Michael spent 2 hours with Peter Cooper whilst I took a shower to get the smell of smoke of my person and then I did a load of washing.
Michael has now gone off to a coaches meeting and I am watching Sport Relief. For you ex pats Alan Shearer and Adrian Chiles have just cycled 334 miles in 2 days starting at Newcastle FC and passing by West Brom FC to London, they have just arrived looking knackered. It is a fun night on TV and they collect to help the needy in Africa and the UK.
You will have seen the 'laid on its side picture' of me? sorry I didn't know how to put it right. Am trying to put some more on the blog, bear with me.

You got dressed up for your picture...I just gave a quirky smile for mine. Mike and I are invited to a 60th birthday party tonight, so we'll try and get a picture of us "cleaned up". It's Debbie Hutchison's husband's birthday (Clyde). It should be fun, she's been cooking and cleaning for 3 days she said (it's at their home). It's always nice going to a party.
