Up and at it.

We decided to go up to Josephs as rain was forcast for the afternoon so we were there before 9am. It was foggy with a fine drizzle. Joseph and karon were just leaving to buy some organic chicken feed, £12 a bag, it doesn't come cheap does it?
Anyway we got stuck in and both dug over a bed each. It is really warm in the garden so I was in my t.shirt despite the drizzle. Buttercups, vine weed and brambles are our biggest problem but there are a lot less of them than last year so we are getting there. There were 2 chicken eggs and I found a duck egg later. The livestock were quiet this morning, the ducks have a bath to swim in and take turns in trying to push each other out, they are fun to watch.
We worked for 2 hours then called it a day.
Michael is going to see Stocksbridge play this afternoon, not sure why, someone has probably asked him to look at a player.
It is 1-30pm and the fine drizzle persists so I am going to sit down with the paper and see if there is anything on tele, I cannot be bothered to go anywhere.Sport Relief raised 19million on the night and there is more to come. Someone donated 51/2 million but didn't want to give their name.
Well it has been like a November day with the fog and drizzle, it has been a long time since we have had a day like this where the fog never cleared.
Michael didn't stay at his match for long, he came home and we watched the rugby. I was so glad we won and that Wales won the championship.
We have just watched the first of a talent show to find someone to take the part of Nancy in 'Oliver' on the west end stage. We followed one last year for someone to play Maria in the 'Sound of Music. Andrew Llyod Webber is the mastermind and it is a good show. The girls not only have to sing but act and dance as well. There are some really talented people out there as well as some really hopeless cases but it is good fun to watch, even Michael enjoys it.
It is now chucking it down with rain, we have had our cocoa and the bottles are in not much else to do but to go to bed?
Natasha is coming up for lunch tomorrow, Michael is picking her up from Hucklow road as she is absolutely worn out with her Uni work, the 2nd year is always the hardest so they say. I think she needs a bit of TLC and her grandad has offered her the right to pick his brain?? she is impressed with his knowledge on sports psychology.
Night all.
On a parting note 2hours digging, weeding and clearing the garden beats a workout in the gym anyday, I know as I have done both.
