Fingers Return ???

We were awake very early today. Mark arrived at 6-45am to collect Michaels car and we got up to prepare for fireman Pete.
He did 4 jobs that were outstanding, he is very thorough and cleans up at the end.He is the sort of bloke every housewife needs, he will turn his hand to anything and is a really nice bloke. His fingers look really well. He said he still feels some numbness and tingling in the one where the bone was cut into and the scar on the other one is a bit tender but on the whole a good healing job.
I made some carrot and coriander soup for lunch and we had some of the soda bread I made with it.It was very nice, I thought of taking a picture of it but soup isn't very photogenic is it?
Pete left about 2pm and I had an hour on the settee, am not used to getting up at that unearthly hour. I used to leave home at 5am when we lived in Grimsargh?
Oh! for the people who look on 'You Tube' try these, 'Scary Kid', 'Charlie Bit Me', 'Cute Hedghoge' and 'Rat man'. Charlie bit me is good and the participants have been on our breakfast TV.
Michaels car was returned at 6-30pm having passed the MOT and service with flying colours. He said it drove like a Rolls Royce? not bad for a ten year old car is it?
We are again awaiting a storm and high winds, we are down for snow in the early hours and heavy rain later.
Spoke with Joseph he is really enjoying his course, he was asked to mark his work out of 10 and he gave himself a 7, the instructor said it was more like a 9. He is the oldest on the course, the others are kids who will probably have had the course paid for them by the job centre?
The chickens have started laying more eggs, it must be a combination of more daylight and more of the garden to roam around.
We had grilled salmon, salad and roasted sweet potatoe for dinner. I have just had my half a cup of cocoa and will soon be in bed.
Mary Sue the new series of 'Hotel Babylon' started a couple of weeks ago minus Tamsin Outhwaite (the manager), she has just had a baby and is doing other things now.
Found the receipts and info from the fitted kitchen whilst I was sorting out, it was fitted in Feb 1996, not doing bad is it especially the ovens which are the same age.
Well that is all for now folks.
Night all.

I really like Hotel Babylon, & look forward to meeting the new manager. That show and the US show Lipstick Jungle are my two favourites now. By the way, I think you should have Michael take a picture of you wearing the new turquoise necklace and post it on your blog.
