Yesterday was busy. We were at Asda at 8-30am, followed by breakfast of porridge etc.
We then drove over to Josephs, he was fitting a new wooden floor to a bedroom and Karon was tidying up before leaving for an afternoon shift. We spent the next 2 hours with Michael digging a veg bed out and me burning a lot of paperwork from my sorting out and tidying stuff up.It was glorious spring weather and it is always warm in the garden as it is walled off so gets very little wind.
We had to keep an eye on Sam the dog who had got himself into the chicken run and was sampling their food.I love watching the chickens, there is a grey one who is 'Top Hen' and keeps the others in shape. They are only producing about 2 eggs a day so any hints and tips would be welcome. One gets picked on and has a bald patch where her tail feathers start, I saw another chicken pecking her there.
Will have to stop watching as it doesn't get any work done. By the time we got home, (we always have a cup of tea and a bun which Karon leaves for up before we go)it was time to start the main meal of the day and after that it was time to sit down and relax.
I was in bed by 10pm and realised I hadn't done my blog, was too tired to get up and do it.
Today have had a lot of paperwork to do connected to Michaels football. Lots of emails between Robin and myself. He could have missed out on the Trinidad trip at one point today as the turks were wanting to change the April dates. Anyway Robin and myself have sorted it so we are back on track. Michael is currently at a meeting to sort out some dates when he can do his coach assessments here. He is a leading tutor for the FA now and assessors other coaches when they are putting on courses. He will be fair but a hard taskmaster I think?
The back copies of his magazines which I wanted to give to charity are now in the boot of his car,he is keeping them there, they weigh a ton.He is slowly going through his stuff but there is little evidence that much is being got rid of.
He is bringing a sandwich from Lilys for us today so I am not cooking, we have some soup in the freezer that I made whilst he was away so it will be soup and sandwich for dinner.
I slept well but feel really tired. I feel anxious as I see the dentist tomorrow, my mouth is still sensitive, it is weird, I can clean my teeth no pain, I am able to eat better now but occasionally it really hurts from out of the blue. I shall end up sobbing when he starts looking at it, I always do. Rob has been my dentist since 1985 and he just ignores my drama and carries on talking to me as usual. He retires at the end of the month so am going to have to find another dentist who can deal matter of factly with my anxiety, easier said than done.
Well that is it,am going to finish this episode in the middle of the day and try and get a five minute nap to freshen me up.
Afternoon all

I think the feather plucking is a sign of overcrowding, but only from distant memories of when we had hens as a kid.

I could kill for a Lilly's roast pork sandwish and a vanilla slice with a nice cup of tea ahh!
Poor Michael having to keep his magazines in his car.
