The week has passed by in a haze of bad weather, toothache, dentist visits, an ultrasound on my foot, housework and countless small events. Highlight of the week was a visit from Natasha who stayed overnight and Naomi who paid a quick visit in between hours of revision for her 'A' levels.
Both are very industrious young ladies with their academic studies.
Rachael is ok and working hard but not stretched enough in her job I think. It is one of those positions where you have to be really established before you can apply for promotion. She is looking forward to moving into a new flat with a girlfriend in Aprl/May.The rest of the grandkids are ok and working hard.
Am now seeing the dentist at 8am Tues when he will start to dismantle my bridge and do 2 root canals before making me another. Hopefully the pain will be over by the middle of next week.
Had an ultrasound on my heel and the prelim report is overuse, tendonitis and calcification of the tendon. I await an appt from the consultant now who will explain in full and suggest treatment if any?
Have done 3 half hour walks this week in my hiking boots, my heel isn't totally pain free but is manageable. It is a case of me finding the right balance I think? Have had 2 enjoyable long conversations with Sandra and Mary Sue so am up to date with both continents, can't wait to see my newly decorated bedroom.
Have just found AI on Sky so am signing off so I can watch it. Michael is putting the bottles in.
Night all.

I feel bad for you Mam. Heel pain and toothache can't be fun. Looks like you are keeping up with daughters in laws and grandkids though.
