A Busy Day.

The day started well. I rushed off to do a body conditioning class but couldn't do it as I needed to wear trainers and I can't. I had got the class muddled with core conditioning which I can do. There I was all ready to start and had to be asked to leave the class?? I knew the instrutor so wasn't embarrased just pd off with the waste of petrol getting there.

Our next stop was the NGH where I had a physio appt. We went through the prelimanary stuff then she showed me two good exercises for my tendon. Stand by the kitchen worktops or similar barefoot. Slowly raise up on your toes as high as you can then very slowly lower yourself. It has to be controlled when you lower yourself. Eventually you have to do it without holding on and up to ten raises three times a day. I have to start with 5 raises, 3 times a day, have done it today and know about it.
The other one is done on the stairs and is too difficult to describe.

We had some lunch and then I thought I would ring our dentist as Michael needed some new screws fitted and my bridge was still sensitive to hot and cold. We have his direct mobile number, he answered and said did we want to go down at 4-30 today, so off we went. The surgery was closed for 2 days for the fitting of new equipment but Rob was working upstairs.He did the necessary and I asked if I could buy some toothpaste he recommended and I had run out. You cannot buy it off the shelf at the chemist but the dentist sell it. He he asked If I paid for my prescriptions and I said no so he gave me a prescription for 2 tubes saving me nearly £8.


Back home so Michael could setttle down for the 2 matches. We had pasta and Ice cream with peaches in red wine, delicious.
I did a bit of gardening then in to watch Springwatch.
A nice day today, a bit cooler and windier.

Tomorrow Michael has an appt with the doc.He has come out in large flat raised white spots on his legs. I think they are a type of wart but they need to be seen as there are a lot of them. Then off to the accountant with our tax returns for last year.

Lovely to hear from Sandra again, am really looking forward to seeing them both again next year. Natasha is visiting them in Sept, she will keep them entertained??
