A red hot day.

Have done very little today. We have decided that when it is hot (and it got to 82today)that we would pretend that we were on holiday and do nothing. Natasha came just after 12noon having been to the dentist and we sat in the sun and browned nicely.
Had a lovely lunch of quiche, roast potatoes and various salads then sunned and chatted some more.Natasha is going to write a book about the poor management skills of Managers within the Starbucks Empire, they have absolutely no people skills at all. After listening to some of the situations she has experienced I wholeheartedly agree with her.
Chris came to pick her up and they left about 6pm.
Michael true to form has been clothed in thick cotton shorts, tee shirt and heavy sweatshirt, plus thick woollen socks today. After some serious advice he finally took off the socks and put his birkenstocks on. I bribed him with an Anzac biscuit to take off his sweatshirt mid afternoon, having said that he had eaten half the jar full before lunch. Natasha had 2 and we managed to save the last one for Chris so they have been well and truly sampled.
He has just watched the Germany v France match and said it was boring?
He said he will need his sweatshirt to wear for the next match as it may turn chilly???
It is currently 74degs. and I am boiling.
Sheila Joseph mixes the chicken food you sent with the corn and they eat it, I guess your girls are really spoiled. They aren't war babies are they?

Happy Birthday to Fuad, hope you have a good one with no more falling off the bikes. Is it at the end of the walk in the park where a bit of a stream runs across the path? I have skidded there when walking.
Must go it is time for Coro.
Night all
