A Busy Week

Not sure what I have done but the week has flown by and I haven't been relaxing and reading a book etc?
Saw the physio again and she said that she thought that it was more management of my heel rather than cure which I accept. She said to continue with my health club stuff and try and incorporate a bit of walking on the treadmill to see how my heel responds. That is in the plan for next week, so keep your fingers crossed.
I am so envious when I see the Montana two walking up the hills, I used to do that, now I cannot walk around the lump. Frigging old age and wear and tear, it is not something to look forward to let me tell you.
It is a year to the day of the floods and it has rained for England most of the day, real heavy rain which is still coming down and it is 8-30pm. Those people who flooded last year must be in a right panic?

Michael is watching football, I think it is Spain and somebody, he fits Wimbledon in between, we think Nadal will win as Federer is off the boil.
He is working all day Saturday assessing a level 2 course I think? then he is reassessing someone who failed their level 3 on Monday then he is off to Turkey on Friday. Have done it again Mary Sue, have told everyone including Michael that he was going on Thursday, Sheila put me right,it is Friday the 4th.
Had a long chat with Natasha yesterday, she is much better and is moving house with Emily her friend on the 1stJuly. She was doing a presentation at Uni today which will count towards her final degree if she wants to go on and do a teachers course later. She had to stand up in front of 36 people and do a 20min Spiel as well as handing in all her research and written stuff. She is going to work full time to build her finances up before her trip to Aus in September. She is off to Bulgaria on a cheap and cheerful weeks hol with Emily next week I think. It is all inclusive and they are going to sit by the pool all day as they are on a tight budget, oh to be young?
Joseph has been up and taken the tiles up from the bathroom floor today.
Naomi has gone to her school prom at the Hilton hotel.
Must tell you this. A big fat wood pigeon sat bang smack middle of the bird bath and was really crouched down covering the top of it. It was absolutely pouring down with rain and it sat for ages having a bath. Suddenly it leaned to one side and stretched it's right wing out fully pointing up to the sky, it used the rain like a shower on it's wing, it then changed sides and did the same on it's left wing. It repeated the process again had a shuffle in the water then flew on the fence to preen and shake off the excess water. Has anyone seen birds do this? it is certainly my first time.
Heavens above it is raining so hard it is running down the road. Poor old Karon has taken a weeks holiday to work on the allotment?
Sandra made some more anzac biscuits in my new oven, they were beautiful and didn't last long as we have a Mr Nobody who lives here who appears to eat them when he is watching football and tennis on TV. It looks like I shall have to make a new batch tomorrow.
I love my new oven and it has made me realise how on it's last legs the old one was. It is so quiet and reaches the correct temp fast, is self cleaning and much more economical. It makes good biscuits and yorkshires.
Am off to bed am fed up with looking at the rain. Have been swimming with Naomi this morning and done a good yoga class this evening. The yoga teacher is moving down to Cornwall soon so not sure who we will get. Have aqua aerobics at 11am tomorrow.
Night all

I looked up Bulgaria and it looks like a very beautiful place. Good for Natasha. Sonia, you need to take pictures of Joseph's progress in the bathroom. Can't wait to see it done.

Mam, I have never seen a bird do that. Are you sure you weren't hallucinating?

That pigeon thing could have beena geriatric afternoon dream, and whoever is eating the biscuits is probably saving you from over indulging.
Bulgaria is the second worse place I have ever visited, its neighbour Romania is worst.
